Timo Werner is joining Chelsea in the next Season

Chelsea Manager Frank Lampard is excited to have Timo Werner in his team.

The good news about joining of Timo Werner has released by Frank Lampard. Lampard believes that Timo Werner’s decision to join the club next season is an exciting sign of  blues victory. Boss says Timo Werner was sold on the project he is building at Chelsea with the Germany international poised to join Chelsea next month.

German international forward player Werner, who has scored 32 goals in all competitions so far this season, was expected to move to Liverpool.However, Chelsea pursued their interest to bring him to their team and have agreed personal terms with the player. Chelsea agreed to give £47.5m fee with RB Leipzig to seal their second signing alongside Hakim Ziyech, who will arrive from Ajax. Werner’s signed deal with the Blues lasts for 5 years on a contract worth around £200,000 a week.

“I had good conversations with him personally where I think he understands what I want to do here with the club, how we work, how we play,” Lampard said in a videoconference ahead of Chelsea’s return to action at Aston Villa. Chelsea is trying hard to seal a return to the Champions League next season as they are in fourth position, with a three-point advantage over Manchester United.

Timo Werner born 6 March 1996, is a German professional Footballer who plays as a striker for RB Leipzig and the Germany national player.

Upon making his senior debut in 2013, Werner became the youngest player ever to represent VFB Stuttgart and later became the club’s youngest ever goalscorer. He made over 100 appearances for Stuttgart before joining RB Leipzig in 2016 for a then-club record fee of €10 million. Across his spell with the two clubs, Werner claimed the domestic records for being the youngest player to reach 50, 100, 150 and 200 appearances in the Bundesliga, although the former two milestones were broken by Kai Havertz and is the youngest player to have scored two goals in a single top-flight match in Germany.
